Phytochemicals prominently identified from O. indicum include flavonoids like baicalein-7-O-diglucoside, baicalein-7-O-glucoside, chrysin, apigenin, prunetin, sitosterol, oroxindin, biochanin-A, ellagic acid, baicalein and its 6- and 7-glucuronides, scutellarin and tetuin.
