Description

Apocynum venetum is a perennial shrub that is specifically distributed in the coastal region of Jiangsu Province. It has also been referred to as “Luobuma” since it was first discovered on the Luopu plains of Xinjiang Province in the 1950s. A. venetum not only provides precious fiber and nectar resources but is also used as an important medicinal plant for treating hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
